Philips Stadion switches to LED illumination

Our partner Benelux Sign Systems has started the transformation of the lighting of all lightboxes and channelletters in and around the Philips Stadion. The old halogene and fluorisent tubes will be replaced by LED lighting form Koledo. Also in the different corridors, hallways and dressing rooms the LED will replace traditional lighting. With these modern technologies PSV achieves a reduction in energy usage by 80%.

The LED Posterbox modules (LPM400) from Koledo save a lot of energy. To give you an example: The text Philips Stadion uses in neon 11 Ampère and 2530 watt. Now in LED that is 1.13 Ampère en 250 watt. And of course PSV doesn't only save on energy als on lifetime and replacement costs.

Istanbul Ataturk Airport

Our local partner LightApp won the project to change all the signs at Atatürk Airport, Istanbul from fluorescent tubes to Koledo LED. This is how the signs looked like with fluorescent tubes, the 'Zebra effect' is clearly visible

This is the same sign but now uniform illuminated with the new LPM400 posterbox module.

Koledo is headquartered at Esp 214 in Eindhoven, The Netherlands with primary operations based in i.a. Asia, United States and across all major countries in Europe.
