Manager Operations and Planning

Koledo International BV headquartered in the Netherlands is a privately owned entrepreneurial spin-off of Royal Philips Electronics specialized in developing, manufacturing and selling professional LED solutions. The company has over ten years of experience introducing LED technology in the sign- and architectural-industry. Our LED-products meet the highest standards and quality specifications. We achieve this high standard because we manage and control the complete "route to market" process: from design, development, production, quality control to marketing & sales. We currently have a vacancy for a Manager Operations & Planning in our Dutch Production department for custom made partner projects, who will be responsible for developing, planning, and execution of all aspect of the value chain within the production supply chain. Manage production operations and planning activities with emphasis on operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience:

An applicable tertiary qualification in Operations Management and/or Production Planning or equivalent.

Minimum of 3/5 years experience in an Electronics Manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of process engineering in production environment.

Good communication skills.

Production scheduling and control.

Proven ability to make critical decision independently.

Optimization of production works flow and industrialization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Ensure adherence to quality controls and standards.

To ensure support is given to relevant departments in terms of project planning and scheduling, risk assessment, and verification. Ensure integration with various planning levels throughout the organization (Procurement/Projects/Development/Planning).

To ensure the continuous and effective monitoring and control of Cost Center Budget and Expenses.

Independently evaluation and selection of techniques, procedures and criteria for supply chain influence.

Impact/Decision: high degree of latitude to make decisions, take action as needed and manage workload.

Responsible for managing and assisting in the development of production financial budgets and targets.

Overall responsibility to ensure that products are delivered in accordance with customer orders.

Continuous analysis of work flows, work centre capacity and bottlenecks and recommendations for improvements in processes, tools, equipment and human resources.
